Word 2003 - Comments Appearing when printing...

Having an issue with Word 2003 with the comments appearing when you print by
clicking on the print icon on the taskbar. Now if i go to File, Print and
print that way, the comments do not show up. I do not want comments showing
up, and i want the user to be able to just click the print icon to print and
not have ot go through the extra steps. Anyone else run into this before?

Hi Trefilov22,

Not quite clear on what you're defining as 'comments'.
If you're talking about the 'balloons' showing changes
to the document check the settings on the reviewing toolbar
and in Tools=>Option=>Security

Its really strange that they will print the balloon comments when you "quick
print" with the icon on the toolbar, but when you go file, print that way
they won't print on the document. I took a look at the security settings,
but don't have a clue which one to change. also the reviewing toolbar isn't
even on the screen, and i don't know how to check the settings for that.
