Word 2003 jpg images

Command: Insert-Picture-From File (jpeg)into new document
results in a single image when viewed and a double image
when printed. Any ideas?

This is supposedly a printer driver issue, although it's being experienced
over a wide variety of printers. AFAIK, the only workaround that has been
found is to print direct to the printer (eliminate the spooler); this is
done through the printer Properties.
