What Evadne is referring to is that software that trawls through the Net is
likely to pick up your e-mail address. An easy solution is as follows:

It's considered polite to identify yourself on the
microsoft.public.mac.office.word newsgroup too. That's a separate subject
from showing an unadulterated address. Lots of posters to this NG have been
unaware of how to disguise their address. Your spam protection is
impressive, but in the absence of any knowledge of that, and knowing how
often people get caught, my post was simply an explanation made in good
faith.
