Word 2008 for MAC - / Key problem in brazilian abnt2 keyboard

C

Célia Fonseca

We are updating our system to Mac OS X Leopard and MS Office 2008. Our
keyboard layout is Brazilian abnt2.
The key / works fine in all applications except in Word 2008. In other
Office applications the key works fine too.
I ve already install all updates available for OS and office applications.
Does anybody have similar problem?
Because I don´t Know what more I can do.

Nós estamos exatamente com o mesmo problema. A tecla / funciona no Excel e no
Powerpoint, mas não funciona no Word.

We have the same problema. The key / works in Excel and PPT, but not in Word.

Hi,

I got similar problem with polish keyboard and "=+" key. In Word 2008, and
only there, that key is treated as an up arrow. I tried to customize
keyboard, and that was hardly helpful, because now I've got two "=+" keys
(original up arrow being the other one).

I see no answer here for Brazilian guys, was this problem solved and what
can I do about it?

Cheers,
JKM

The rumour I have is that this is a "logged bug".

In other words, Microsoft has confirmed the problem, but they have not yet
found the resources to schedule it for a fix.

In other words: "Yes, thank you, we know about it."

Sorry...
