Word 97

After years of usage and satisfaction, when I open a Word
97 document and try to work with it, I get one of two
errors: "Winword has caused an error in Winword.EXE",
or "Winword has caused an error in HPFWIN 12.DLL".

I've tried reinstalling software......no luck.

Is there a solution?

The error message points to your HP printer driver. Try deleting and
reinstalling the printer.
