When inserting a JPEG into a Word document, the application saves a duplicate
of the graphic as a WMF file causing the size of the document to increase
dramatically. I found an article relating to Word 97 that says you can edit
the registry by adding a ExportPictureWithMetafile string, however, this does
not appear to work with Word 2000/2003. Does anyone have any suggestions on
how to add a graphic but eliminate the WMF that is automatically saved?
Thanks.
