Word Art will not Print

Hello. I just changed computers due to a defect in my old computer that I
had for one month. In the old computer, Word Art would print just fine in my
documents. Now I have my new computer and I installed the same Word 2002
exactly the same way that I installed it on the old computer. I changed no
settings on the old computer nor the new computer so I expected no issues at
all. Now the new computer will not print word art in the document.
Everything else in the document prints fine (text, clip art, etc.) but word
art is missing. I checked for drivers and updates for my printer because I
guess its possible for new updates to come within a month but found I still
had the latest and greatest updates and drivers. I checked for updates on
the printer because the word art displays in print preview which means word
thinks that it's printing the word art, right? I checked background images
box to make sure that it was checked and it was, so I even unchecked it and
tried to print again. Same issue. I'm using Vista. Any help with this
issue will be greatly appreciated as I'm kind of on a time crunch with the
document that I need. Thank you.

In Word, click on Tools | Options | Print tab | check the "Drawing
objects" box | OK.

Does the wordart appear in Print Preview? If yes, then Word thinks it
is printing the wordart, even if it isn't coming out of your printer,
and it's probably a printer driver issue.

I read other advice you gave and checked all that before I asked for help. It
does appear in preveiw, I checked HP site and I do have the latest driver.
Now remember, I had the same printer with my old computer and the document
printed fine. So I feel good about ruling out the printer.

I'm having the same problem with an HP Inkjet 1200dn and Vista workstations.
Our print server is Windows 2003 and the driver and firmware for the printer
are up to date. Anyone found a solution to this? Like the previous poster,
in Print Preview the graphics do appear yet they are not printed.
