Word as email editor in outlook 2003

Hello

I have word 2003 sp2, outlook 2003 sp2 and xp sp2 home edition.

When I reply to an e-mail I'd like to use word 2003 as
e-mail editor. So I checked "Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail
messages." in Tools > Options > Mail Format.

But on clicking Reply button on the Standard toolbar I get the follwing
message "Microsoft Word is set to be your e-mail editor. However, Word is
unavailable, not installed, or is not the same version as Outlook. The
Outlook e-mail editor will be used instead. An OLE registration error
occurred. The program is not correctly installed. Run Setup again for the
program."

Please can you tell me which Setup program I have to run again - Outlook
2003 or Word 2003 ? How do I resolve this error message ? Thank you.

PS What is the difference between Rich Text format and HTML ? For what
occasions can I use the either ?

Regards
Hash

Dear Hash

I've been having exactly the same problem (posted a couple of days ago) and
so far I've been told that the version of Word should be the same as Outlook,
which it is in my case as it appears to be for you as well. So at present
ther's no answer. I've tried installing word again and I've tried
uninstalling the whole Office suite and installing it all back. Still the
same problem.

I'll let you know when I have it figured out.
