Word document cannot be opened by email recipient.

I am using MS Office 97 Professional. When emailing (hotmail acct.) and
attaching a copy of my resume, recipients say they are unable to open it and
suggest I send it in Word Doc. form which is what I am doing. What could be
the problem?

You will need a zip utility - such as winzip www.winzip.com or one of the
many alternatives eg
