Word document with VBA and Autotext

I have a requirement to attach a couple of templates to an existing template
via buttons. I know that this can be done using the AUTOTEXT feature and
attaching it to via a Button with the help of a VBA macro.

But I can't for the life of me remember how to accomplish this.

ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Might help if you clarified the terminology. "attach a couple of templates
to an existing template" makes no sense. What are you trying to do?

"Templates" refers to a template document created by Word.
Example: Attach "market_report.dot" to "main_Report.dot"

You cannot attach a template to a template. It does not work. Each template
functions as its own AttachedTemplate.
