Word documents open in Internet Explorer, not Word

How do I change Outlook to open Word documents in Word instead of
Internet Explorer? Thanks

Make sure the default handler is Word and not the Word Viewer. You can check
and change this in Control Panel-> FOlder Options-> tab File Types

Go to Windows Explorer, Tools | Folder Options | File Types. Find the
.DOC file type and change the program that opens it to Word.

You're welcome!

It is the default indeed but when you've installed Word Viewer as well you
might have been prompted somewhere to associate doc-files with the Word
Viewer.
