Word / Docvariable / bullets

Don't know where to post this

Have trouble with using docvariables from one document to another in a
section where bullets is used.

When updating fields the merge works but it wont start with bullet "A".

When hitting CTRL + SHIFT + F9 to eliminate field codes it actually changes
the way the document looks - I'm a little confused here because I didn't
think that this would change the contents of the document.

Then of course you could state just hit those keys - unfornately that is not
an option because my document is created from another application using
Com-techno...

How come it won't show the first bullit to begin with ?

Hope this explains it

Great link

However - I actually think it's an error related to the combination of
putting field codes into a bullet list

When the field codes fetches something from another document at the start of
the bullet list it just won't display the first bullet.

Hitting Ctrl shift f9 shouldn't change the contents of the document - it
should just eliminate field references - the fact that it changes the
content of the
document indicates that word have a problem with merging to another document
at the starting point of a bullet list.
