Word Macro to count number of lines in selected text

Can anyone help with a small macro to return a line count for a block of
selected text (could be a table cell, text box or just blocked text.

I have some ideas but am not experienced enough to know tha actual macro
statements required. I guess the macro could put the number of lines in a
Message Box.
