Word macro toolbar

I created a macro tool bar for all documents in Word 2002 (Office XP). When
the visble bar is full, you get a drop down list. What I would like to
accomplish is to keep all those macros on that toolbar, including that drop
down list, in alphabetical order. I noticed that when I use a macro in the
drop down list, the button for that macro inserts itself on the visible part
of the toolbar thus sending another on the drop down list. This creates a
disorder as far as alphabetical order is concerned. I have to work with
hundreds of macros and it is important that they are kept in alphabetical
oder for easy retrieval. Having that said, does anyone know how to keep all
the buttons in alphabetical order on a created macro toolbar? Thank you very
much for your time.

If there are so many buttons on your toolbar you might consider adding
a few menus to the toolbar and putting some macros in there. That would
make them easier to find for the user.

It's just an idea.

Yes Theo, that was a very good suggestion. It makes much more sense to do it
that way. I am just having problems inserting the macros in the menu bar. I
am working on that. Thanks a bunch.
