Word Mailmerge vs WP mail merge

I'm used to WP mail merge where a [KEYBOARD] is entered. In the merge, the
document stops at this KEYBOARD so that info can be added. I can't find
where this is possible in Word. Is it possible and if so, how?

If I understand the question correctly, you can insert a FILLIN field where
you want the user to be prompted for input.
