Word password protection

I've just posted this on win98 newsgroup.

I have just saved some space on my hard drive by saving
all my personal files on CD they are all word documents
and password protected to stop my nosey siblings from
prying. the problem is that all they have to do is order a
printout of the document, the password is ignored and the
document is printed.
Any suggestions, please
..

It has been suggested that I encript my files (Which I
dont know how) and as there are a lot of files.

Any "word" helpers got any suggestions.

Remove the CD from the drive and lock it up.

The password should be required to print. What version of Word and
Excel are you using and how did you password protect the files?
