Word problem

hello, newbie poster here.

i have a problem which is rather hard to try and explain, but here goes :).

I am trying to figure out how to insert a backdrop into a word document, so
that it will print say draft or sample feigntly in the background, and then
my text is clear over the top of it, so it is still readable

any help be very much appreciated.

What you are describing is what Word calls a watermark. If you have Word
2002 or above, use Insert | Background | Printed Watermark. For previous
versions, see Word's Help file under "Create a watermark" or “HOW TO: Create
a Watermark in Microsoft Word 2000” at
