Word Slow Pasting Graphics

I often copy graphics from the web and paste them into MS Word (2003) -
mainly from the chess page - but lately it is taking nearly a minute to
paste. It used to be almost instantaneous. Does anyone know of a cure for
this problem?

I would suggest cleaning out temporary internet file.

To determine if it is Word related, pop open "WordPad" from the
Accessories Menu of Programs, and try pasting there. If slow there also,
it's not Word thats the issue.
