Word take ages to open a file

Hi

Word seems to take ages at openning documents, the time seems to vary from
1min to 5mins. All the documents are less the 30 kb in size. All these
documents were opening up fine before, no changes have been make to our
network.

Just to help out we have network where all the are files stored on a Windows
Server 2003, we are using Office 2000, and Windows 2000 PCs.
