Word Template - Excel Links

Help....!

I have created a my own document template in Word 97 which has 'Paste Special' links to an Excel spreadsheet.

Is it possible to break the links with the Excel spreadsheet and tell the Word document to look at a different spreadsheet knowing that the data in the spreadsheet will be different but in the same cells ?

If I could do this then I would not need to re-create the links each time as there are several iof them....

Thanks

Mark

Check out Menu: Edit/Links ... Button: Change Source.

This seems to do what you want. You can change the file name, and
adjust the range (under the Item button).
