word text search

i use word 97 ( yea i know) anyway,, when you go to
open,, you can search a particular file for TEXT in the
folder ( ie: names etc)
however in word 2002, when i hit open i can only search
for filenames??? help,,,i am bummed about this,,dont tell
me word 2002 doesnt have this capability

Word 2002 does have this capability (Tools | Search in the Open dialog), but
the interface is so frustrating that most of us use Windows Explorer for
searches.
