Word & Word Viewer

I am using SUS 3.0 to push updates out to comptuers that have BOTH Word 2003
& Word 2003 Viewer. I know its crazy that these computers have both
installed. You want to go remove the Viewer from 500+ computers? Neither do.
The updates are getting installed correctly. The problem is when someone goes
to open a doc file it is opening with Word. How can I fix this. I am sure
there is something in the registry that will allow me to do this. My concern
is everytime a new patch is pushed out by Wsus then this will happen over and
over.
