Word XP for Windows & Word X for Mac

I am thinking for working with a Mac user at a remote location and
sending the person a document template with macros I use (of course, as
a current doc as the experts here have told me in the past). Is this
possible between Word XP (Windows) and Word X? The extent of my
knowledge is limited to Microsoft claim in the ads that they are fully
compatible. Is this true?

I'd appreciate any advice regarding this.

G'day ninak <[email protected]>,

reasonably compatible yes - the best way is to suck it and see - send
it, have them run it, see what fails :) The odd thing here and there
displays problems.
