WORD2000 Label printing with adjusted pageformat is not correct

Jacques

When i create an A4 format page with 8 labels on it and do a preview,
then i see all the 8 labels.
When i am adjusting the format to e.g. 10,5 cm and 29,7 cm the preview
shows only the top 4 labels, so the lower 4 labels disappear !!!
I am using a HP 1010 laser printer at home and Word 2000 (9.0.2812)
Thanks for any inputs

Hi Jacques,

The best way to work out what's going on is to replicate the problem
but more information is needed to do this.
1. Did you create the labels by creating a table with 2 columns and 4
rows? If not, can you post how you created them?
2. What was changed to 10.5 and 29.7 cm (ie was it the top / bottom
margin).

Any other information you can provide will help as well.

Cheers,
Tammy

Tammy,

When i use just a simple A4 format paper with the following settings
for the paper-margins:
Top: 0,42 cm.
Below: 0,03
Left: 6,0
Right: 5,75
Header: 1,25
Footer: 1,25

The label settings:
Size: 9,0 cm.
Row Height: 3,76 Exact
Column widht: 8,6
Cel width: 8,6

With these settings and margins all is going well:
Preview gives 8 labels

As soon as i change the paper height to an adjusted format (height: 30
cm)
Preview only gives 4 labels !!!

My intention is to use the manual paper-feed on the HP 1010, which
uses the center of the page.
When this is no problem anymore i can use an adjusted paper size with
all the right settings and sizes !!!

By using A4 papersize you are tricking the printer, but this should
not be needed (in my opinion)

Hope to hear from you

Jacques
