If you bought the retail version of Word, you can contact Microsoft
and they can probably help you. If you have an OEM version (usually
supplied when you buy a computer with Word already installed on it),
you may be able to get some help from contacting your computer
vendor... you'll probably have better luck if it's a major vendor like
Dell or HP or Compaq or similar. If all that fails, you can always buy
another OEM copy. OEM copies of Word 97 & Excel 97 (bundled) are
$89.95 at www.directdeals.com. Or, if you'd rather have Word 2000
(much preferred over Word 97 in my opinion) you can get that as a part
of the Works suite for only $39.95.
