WordArt color

Why does the 'selected' colors not change during preview mode ?

Which version of PowerPoint do you use? WordArt has changed a lot in the new
version 2007, so there's no "one-fits-all"-reply.

Best regards,
Ute

Thanks for a quick reply. I use version 2003, not sure if this matters, in a
XP MCE ops sys. No matter what I do, the colors will not change.

I got around it by using the regular text box and manipulating the 'form'
options to change the appearance of the words. Seems all the formatting
options are readily available doing that approach.

But this really bugs me that I can't be creative with WordArt.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or comments.

When you insert WordArt, you get a small new WordArt-toolbar. There's an
icon with a paint-bucket and paintbrush in the middle. Use this to format
WordArt. You can't use the normal text-formatting tools because up to
PowerPoint 2003 WordArt is handled like graphics.

Best regards,
Ute
