Wordart

Hi There,
I,ve been having problems with a clients Publisher file
that is using alot of "WORDART". Fonts are supplied but
always open up distorted, much longer than sample
supplied. This problem only appears in wordart. In the
past I have had this problem and just fudged it and went
on with it. This file however requires far to much work
to fix manually. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Copy the WordArt to the Clipboard, then go menu EDIT > Paste Special and
select "Paste as Picture".

Delete the original WordArt of move it to the scratch area.

This IS a major problem.

but if the the word art is all messed up, won't copying it and pasting as
picture insert the screwed up version?

Perhaps it should be fed back to the folks who made the file and have them
do this?

Mac,

I 'think' the fonts are converted to outlines or curves. Probably lose a
little in the conversion, but not as much as trying to use the original WA.
