Wordpad (not ms word) no longer "Save As..." in ms word 6.0 format

how can I fix this ? and how can I make it my default format for wordpad ?

As far as I know this is not fixable. Wordpad and Notepad have both been
updated to include support for unicode. Wordpad can still open and read
Word 6 files but the ability to "save as" has been removed.

Wordpad saves in RTF format, which is Word 6 format.
