Hi Lady,
There's a 'sort of' workaround to do this.
You can create a blank document in wordpad (well hit the
spacebar once to have the document contain 'text') then
setup that document the way that you want to have your
Wordpad defaults.
Save that file named somethin along the lines of
WordPadDefaults.doc (using Word 6.0
as the file type in File=>Save As) to the C:\ folder.
Next create a shortcut on your desktop to Wordpad
that includes in the target line
Wordpad "C:\WordPadDefaults.doc"
When you use that shortcut your defaults would show up
*but* remember to then use File=>Save as and use the
name of a *new* file for the document or anything you
type becomes a part of your 'defaults' document.
========
How do I set defaults in WordPad so that when I open a blank document it's
always the same font size (and NOT the 10-pt that's loaded on)???>>
