words breaking on layout in PP2003

Anthony

When entering text into presentation, words break at odd points and do not
insert any hyphen logic. I need the words to not break, but to carry over to
the next line if they are too long for current line. Would prefer to not have
then hyphenate either, but to carry over to the next line.

Hi Kenny
What version of PowerPoint are you using? I tried to recreate your problem
but PowerPoint seems to be behaving itself.

One way you can manually wrap a word to the next line is to do a 'soft
return'. To do a 'soft return' hold down Shift when you hit Enter/Return.
This will move the text that follows to the next line and keep it as part of
the same paragraph.

Have fun
