workdays
I want to move forward 23 workdays from either a weekend day or a weekday
while including the first workday in the 23 days but am getting 2 different
dates from the same formula when using the weekend day or the following
Monday. For example, the 23rd workday from Saturday, 01-01-05 is
02-02-05....the 23rd workday from Monday, 01-03 is also 02-02-05 if you
assume that we are including the first work day in the equation. When I
utilize the WORKDAY formula it calculates one day further for the date that
begins on 01-03 and comes up with 02-03-05 because it is adding 23 to the
first business day. Is there something I can do to adjust for this...it's
easy enough when you're starting with a business day to just add one less day
but that doesn't help when someone puts in a weekend day...the date will be
one day short. Help?
