WORKING WITH CHINESE CHARACTERS

We have problems trying to record chinese characters. We
are able to write them but once we restore them via ODBC
to an Access database or a outlook calendar record they
are save as ???? instead.
I guess that we need to install a patch to solve this
problem but we don´t know were to get it.

Can somebody help me?
