wrong availability totals

Hope someone can help me.

We have a view in portfolio analyzer that shows work and
availability per resource. The table view shows the
resources organization levels (dept, section,...) followed
by the resources of that organization (row fields). The
column fields represents time. The column totals for work
are ok but the totals for availability are way off.
I can'figure out what is going on. Does anybody have an
clue?

After investigation, the total being shown is that of
the "temporary availability" measure. Why is that? Haven't
got a clue.
If I add this measure in the pivot table, additional
resources (ex. inactives) appear and their availability
also appears as temporary availability BUT NOT IN
AVAILABILITY (!!!!!)

If someone can explain how this "availability" is
calculated and why the total is wrong, I would appreciate.
