X-axis labels in Excel!

Why isn't there an option any longer to change the x-axis labels from default numbers to source data from the spreadsheet?

This is ABSURD! Who on earth doesn't label their x-axis??? Leave it to Microsoft to leave out something so basic and essential. At least everything looks pretty.

This has been discussed extensively in the Excel group, including how to
change the labels.

No Idea why you thought what I posted was rude...

There are myriad threads, none of which are particularly hard to find -
if you got here through Google, then you can search the
microsoft.public.mac.office.excel newsgroup in Google Groups if you're
interested.
