Z-DEPTH

Does anyone know how (or if) you can control the Z-depth of controls on a
form?

For example I have several text boxes on a form. I would like to rearrange
them onto the tab control, however, when I move the text boxes onto the tab
control they end up BEHIND the tab control.

Any help appreciated!

Step 1. If the controls are sitting directly on the form (not on a page of
the tab control), select and cut them to clipboard (Ctrl+X, in form design
view.)

Step 2: Click the the tab you want to paste them on, and paste (Ctrl+V.)

Step 3: Click the tab again.
Choose Tab Order on the View menu.
Adjust the order of the controls.

Note that the form has its tab order (for controls sitting directly on the
form), and each page has its tab order (for the controls on that page.)

Should have also mentioned that you can move one control in front of the
other by using the Format menu in form design.

You can't set the Z-order directly, but you can move a control in front
of/behind another.
