Cant download Yahoo Mail Plus email to Entourage 2008

Processor: Intel
Email Client: pop

HELP!!

I followed the instructions to set up Yahoo Mail Plus POP forwarding to Entourage 2008 and keep getting the same error 16999.

The Entourage status bar shows "connecting securely to yahoo mail" then says "getting list of messages 883" and then it errors out.

How do I fix this? Am i downloading too many yahoo emails for Entourage to accept?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as i bought this Macbook for business purposes and rely heavily on Outlook/yahoo mail so I hate to go back to my WinPC and return the Mac because of this!!!!
