Centimeters instead of Inches

Hello,

I have opened a new project in Visio.

I have set ALL measures into centimeters:
File -> page setup -> Printer Paper, Paper size, drawing scale, page
properties

However, while I drag and drop new shapes, I still have it in Inches.

Why? How do get rid of ALL those Inches units?

Thanks,
Uriel

Where are you dragging the shapes from? Most of the shapes supplied
with Visio as standard have shapes in inches as well as metric units.
You may need to open the metric version of the stencil. If the stencil
is supplied by some 3rd party then maybe only an inches version is
available (It is the shape in the stencil that determines most of the
dimensions used by the shape, some are determined by the template).

two thoughts a.) you're using the u.s. stencils, b.) you're looking at the
internal units (which are in inches)

There's another one:

File -> Page Setup -> Page Properties tab

"Measurement units"

(or did you do that already)

I set this and even US-inch shapes showed as "cm" in the Status Bar at
lower-left.

Hope this helps,
