Visio 2002 SP2 and US Units Problem

I am trying to use Visio 2002 SP2 to create a floorplan.

I have the File > Page Setup > Page Properties > Measurement Units set
to "Inches"

I have the Tools > Options > Regional > Page set to "Feet and Inches".

I have the File > Stencils > Building Plan > Wall, Doors, and Windows
(US Units) shapes added.

When I drag a wall from the "Wall, Doors, and Windows (US Units)"
Shapes box, the dimensions show as Meters regardless of what I try to
do. I need things in feet and inches

Any ideas?

You may need to select the proper *template* before selecting the proper
*stencils*.

What are the country settings of your OS and Office products?

They should be US for country settings, but I wouldn't know how to
check or switch them.
