Connection to the server failed or was dropped. Error: -3253

I notice others have experienced this error; however, my circumstances are different.

I cannot send e-mails. I have tried every solution found on any support site and on this site.

We are not on an Exchange server. Our e-mail server is a standard SMTP. We are not requiring SMTP. We are using using a Mailsite e-mail server.

I have no idea what triggered this; my e-mail just stopped working. I have tried every solution found on other support sites as well as this one.

I don't know what to do next.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

I am experiencing the same issues as above. I am not sure where to go to for more info
