Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: pop Ever since I updated Entourage 2008 about a week or so ago, I've been getting intermittent errors (off and on all day - twenty and more times- when automatically retrieving email: Connection to the server failed or was dropped. Could not retrieve mail. Error:-3253. Am I the only one?

Thank you for quick response. I tried your suggestion, but I'm still having the problem. It happens at home as well as work. But only started since Microsoft had an update last week. Is there anyway I can contact Microsoft without paying $95?

It could also be reflective of a problem with the server itself. It
could be anything from a bad e-mail to an IMAP bug.

Are you referring to the 12.2.4 update?

Is there anyway I can contact Microsoft without paying $95?
