2 Contact folders

Hi,

In outlook 2000, I have 2 contact folders and want to delete the empty one.
I found awhile ago, an article regarding this issue but didn't keep it and
don't remember how to correct this. I want to delete the empty one.

Select the one you don't want. If it's not the default Contacts folder, the
Delete button will become active. Click the button.

In the Folder List view of the Outlook Bar.

Where do you see the two contacts - in the folder list or in the address
book?

Well it seems to be Ok now. When importing PST data in a new Outlook
Installation, I sometime see that. When clicking on the new button to get
the contact list, you have 2 contacts showing up and one of them is empty.

Importing PST data is one of the most common causes of duplicate files.
That's one of the many reasons you don't use import.

you can remove the extra in the address book's tools, options.
