2 questions-baseline entire & selected tasks

I've already done a baseline on the entire project.
If I later baseline selected tasks on one of the tasks that I've previously
baselined in the entire project, will that task information overlay the
previously baselined task?
And will I lose the actual work applied to that task?

- The answer is Yes
Will I lose the actual work applied to that task ?
- Hopefully the answer is No !

NB : You can choose how the new baseline data will go upward : to all
summary tasks or into selected summary tasks (2002 version)
