,How to activate PDF maker on WORD 2003? it is working on my excel, i just
don't understand why it doesn't automatically come up on word as well.

Assuming that you mean Acrobat's PDF maker then check that the Acrobat
add-in is correctly installed and that it is not disabled (Help >About
Microsoft Word > Disabled Items).
