7 Day 24 Hour Calendar

Hello,
I could use some help with my logic. I have created a schedule for a
software test lab that is used by mutiple groups. the lab it self is run
7 days a week 24 hours. The testers work in this lab around the clock.

Let's say group A has the lab for 12 hours and group B has the lab for
the 12 hours. Task A is for group A and Task B is group B. How do I
apply the calendar and the reosurces. Currently I am have task A
starting 10/14/09 and ending on 10/19/2009.

I am using MS Project 2007 and it is not on a project server.

Hi

You have two teams dealing with two sets of tasks. So, in my view create two
different projects for Team A and Team B. In team A project create an
appropriate 12 hrs calendar and assign it as the project calendar. Then
create the schedule and assign resources. Similarly do it for Team B.

To get a combined view of the lab usage, open a new project file and insert
these two projects. You may also create a link between the tasks of these two
teams.
