Hi ,

We have 5 teams who's project plans are uploaded in project server .These
teams project managers would be updating and changing project plans .It is
required that everyone should be able to see others project plans on project
web portal but should be able to edit only their project plan .As i am the
program manager , i should be informed of all changes or updates done by
these project managers .
Can this be done on project web access 2007 ?

Thanks
Pratiksha

Basically, you need two security groups:

1) Team members - configure so they can see all projects.
2) Project managers - configure so they can open all projects in MS Project
but only their own as Read/Write.

It sounds like you're performing the PMO role. You can create a group just
for that, but the security may be the same as the Team Member or PM group, so
there's not a strict requirement for a third group.

The only challenging part would be that you want to be informed if anything
changes. If what changes? If something slips? That's what the dashboards
are for in Project Center - and you can also track when the last file was
saved/published there as well.
