a serious mistake in microsoft office picture manager

When i tried to open a *.bmp file in microsoft office picture manager, to my
surprise, the image showed is obviously wrong. The same *.bmp file showed in
micrfsoft paint and picture manager is different. I have the *.bmp in my
conputer.
