accdb will not open in 2007 Runtime

I hope I am in the right forum since the dev forums seem to be nearly
abandonded.

I have an app that when run on a PC with Access 2007 Runtime insatlled it
opens and closes immediately. I have tested and confirmed this happens on
two different Xp Pro machines and a Winows 7 machine. However it opens fine
in the full version of Access and in the full version using the /runtime
switch. I assume since this occurs on multiple machines the problem is in
the database itself. But I can't seem to put my finger on it.

I am developing in 2007 for the first time. However I have done extensive
work in Access XP/2003 with the dev kit and runtime so I am not green to
this. The app is not overly complex. The startup form has no code OnOpen. I
have set the folder where the file is located as a Trusted Location.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks but I said in my original post that I have already configured the
folder as a trusted locaion. I do not get any security warnings. Access
opens breifly and then closes - this is not a trusted location issue.

At one point I had the file opening to a blank Access window but the startup
form did not open. That had started occuring without me making any changes.
It has since stopped opening blank and reverted to opening and closing
immediately.

Again it opens fine on a PC with full access and with the /runtime swich.

I just tested with a new nearly blank database - imported a table, created a
form with no code, set the app name and display form in settings for the
current database - and it works. It opens in Access Runtime without a
problem. So obviously the problem is in the accdb itself.

I will post to another group since I know this isn't anything to to do with
setupconfig.

Thanks
Tony

It ended up being a corrupted file anyway. I created a new one, imported all
the objects and voila, it works fine.

Thanks anyway,
Tony
