ACCESS 2000 ON WINDOWS 98

Hi,
We seem to have trouble with some users using windows 98
running queries that will update linked alpha 4 tables. I
have windows 2000 and had no trouble updating a linked
alpha4 table. Have you seen this problem? Is there
something we set somewhere to resolve this issue.
