Access 2007 upgrade: no CD required?

I've just installed Access 2007 upgrade version, after Office Home and
Student 2007 full version. I expected to be prompted for an older
Office Pro CD, but it seems to have installed with no CD required.

Is this normal, or am I suddenly going to need the old CD?

I just read in another post in the office.misc group that M$ now has
something called CrossGrading of Office 2007. Apparently this is using
an upgrade version to add capability to an already installed Office
package just like you did.
