I am running Access 2007. I needed to do some testing on an existing database
(created in Access 2003) so as not to ruin or corrupt the data I simply
copied the database to another location and renamed it. I began working with
the User and Permission option in Access 2007, setting up users/groups with
passwords in the copied database. The problem is somehow the original
database is being affected by the user/group permissions and is requiring a
login. I restored the original database to a day prior when I began testing
the users and permissions options, however I am still being prompted for a
login.
I've also tried going into the copied database to remove the groups and/or
users and those options are grayed out.
Is there a way to disable this login? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
